Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is in Caracas for talks with top Venezuelan officials, had a meeting with the Latin American country's vice-president, Delcy Rodríguez, on Thursday.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.
Also attending the meeting was the head of Iran-Venezuela Joint Commission, who conferred with Foreign Minister Zarif on work-related issues and the arrangements required for reinforcing the ties.
