Iran foreign minister in Beirut for talks with Lebanese officials

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian on Thursday noon arrived in the Lebanese capital Beirut for meetings and consultations with Lebanese officials and political figures as well as the leaders and personalities of Palestinian groups.

Upon his arrival, the Iranian foreign minister was welcomed by Lebanese foreign ministry and parliament officials.
He also fielded questions about the goals of his visit to Lebanon at a press conference.
