FM Zarif Meets Russian Counterpart in Moscow

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov before a trilateral meeting with Turkey’s top diplomat in Moscow.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov before a trilateral meeting with Turkey’s top diplomat in Moscow.

During the Saturday meeting, Zarif and Lavrov discussed various dimensions of bilateral relations and agreements made in a meeting of Iranian and Russian foreign ministers. 

They also talked about cooperation in the energy sector, terrorism, the Caspian Sea, JCPOA, developments in Yemen and Syria, and advancing the Astana Process.
