New consul general of Iran in Guangzhou meets with FM

Irans new Consul General in Guangzhou China Saeed Hariri met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi before departing for the place of his mission.

 

Iran's new Consul General in Guangzhou, China, Saeed Hariri met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi before departing for the place of his mission.
During the meeting, Hariri presented an outline of his proposed plans for advancing his responsibilities in the new post.


Araghchi underlined the importance of Iran–China relations and the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, commerce, consular affairs, and support for Iranians living abroad within the consulate’s jurisdiction.

Prior to this appointment, Hariri served as the director of ceremonial affairs and delegations at the Foreign Ministry and as counselor at the Iranian embassies in Germany, Italy and Turkey.
