Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, and British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, held a telephone conversation on Monday night.
During the talks, Araghchi referred to the recent developments in Iran which saw the peaceful guild protests turning violent by operatives trained abroad and left many people dead, with public and private property vandalized.
He strongly condemned foreign intervention particularly that of the US and Israeli regime in the internal affairs of Iran.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no effort in following up on the issue and identifying the perpetrators of crimes against Iranian people and those ordering them.
The top Iranian diplomat also slammed the British government’s failure in living up to its commitments to protect the Iranian embassy in London.
He pointed out that the British government is duty-bound to take necessary measures to prevent any raids on the diplomatic missions of Iran in London.
Araghchi said, otherwise, the Islamic Republic of Iran will adopt necessary measures in this regard.
