Iran FM heads to Switzerland for nuclear talks diplomatic meetings

Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran left Tehran for Geneva on Sunday night at the head of a diplomatic and expert delegation to take part in the second round of nuclear negotiations and to hold a series of diplomatic consultations.

The indirect Iran–U.S. nuclear talks are scheduled to be held on Tuesday with the mediation and good offices of Oman.

 

During the visit, the Foreign Minister is also set to meet with the Swiss Foreign Minister, the Omani Foreign Minister, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), as well as several international officials based in Switzerland.
