Iran Turkey FMs discuss regional developments in phone call

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation with Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, regarding regional developments and the situation arising from the aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Referring to the fact that no projectiles were fired from Iran towards Turkey, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need for vigilance against the plots of the Zionist regime aimed at undermining the friendly relations between Iran and the regional countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey congratulated his Iranian counterpart on the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Hakan Fidan stressed the importance of safeguarding the deep and brotherly relations between the two countries.

During this conversation, it was decided that, in line with the agreement reached between the presidents of the two countries, a joint military expert group would be formed as soon as possible to carefully examine the recent claims.
