Irans FM tells Macron it is too late to shift blame for France unrest

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi criticized French President Emmanuel Macron over his remarks linking France’s recent unrest to high fuel prices caused by the US war against Iran, saying Macron had helped pave the way for the situation by supporting the war. In a post on X, Araghchi said it was too late to shift blame and urged Macron to listen to the French people’s calls for fundamental change and guarantees of freedom of assembly.
