A tripartite meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah, and Deputy Head of the Political Office of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri was held in Beirut.   The participants in the event exchanged views on the latest developments in Palestine and the resistance front.   The Iranian foreign minister expressed his satisfaction with the joint meeting with the brothers from Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement and said in the process of the struggle for the liberation of the Palestinian nation against the Zionist occupation, the role of Hamas and Jihad and their unifying efforts were very decisive. During the recent attack by the Zionist enemy on Gaza, the announcement of the formation of a joint chamber between the resistance groups, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, shows the resistance’s smart move in the fight against the usurping Zionist enemy.   Amirabdollahian considered the support for the Palestinian cause, the resistance and the struggle for the liberation of the Palestinian nation as an unchangeable policy and the essence of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s foreign policy, and emphasized the necessity for the unity of actions of the Palestinian nation and groups for the realization of the full rights of the Palestinian nation and the formation of a unified Palestinian state in all of historical Palestine with the Noble al-Quds as its capital.   During the joint meeting, the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad of Palestine expressed their satisfaction with the Islamic Republic of Iran's decisive and effective support for the resistance of the Palestinian people, the increasing achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various domestic and foreign policy fields, and stressed the determination and resolve of the resistance groups and the Palestinian nation’s invincible will to continue the struggle until the complete defeat of the Zionist regime and the full realization of the Palestinian nation’s rights.
