On Saturday, November 11th, we travelled to Riyadh with Dr. Raisi, the honorable president of our country, to participate in the emergency summit of heads of Islamic and Arab countries.   Since the early days of the horrific crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, the president of our country proposed the idea of holding a high-level political meeting with the presence of heads of Islamic countries to collectively support Palestine. The proposal, leveraging the capacity of multilateral diplomacy within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, was carefully considered in diplomatic consultations.   Despite a one-month delay, this summit reiterated the importance of Palestine and Quds as key factors for unity in the Islamic world.   The President, actively participating with ten crucial, operational, and urgent proposals, made a decisive commitment for the benefit of the Palestinian nation. This included halting the killing and genocide in Gaza, completely lifting the human blockade of the enclave, and severing all political and economic relations with the Zionist regime by the Islamic countries,   the establishment of an international tribunal to prosecute and punish leaders and criminals of the Zionist regime and the United States, the creation of a special fund for immediate Gaza reconstruction, and the large-scale dispatch of humanitarian aid convoys to the Palestinian people from Islamic countries.   The Islamic Republic of Iran advocates the main and permanent solution for Palestine in accordance with international law, emphasizing a referendum with the participation of all original Palestinians inside and outside the land, a position consistently emphasized at the highest political levels.   In the senior experts' meeting to prepare the final summit statement, Iran's reservations about certain provisions were officially announced and sent to the Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation through an official note.   Bilateral meetings with high officials from Egypt, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Nigeria, Syria, Qatar, Lebanon, and Sudan were another part of this intensive trip. In these meetings, aside from addressing developments in Palestine, the latest state of bilateral relations and areas for strengthening ties were discussed.
