Iran FM discusses Palestine with secretary general of Islamic Jihad movement
Irans Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Ziyad Al-Nakhalah the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement discussed the latest developments in Gaza and Palestine as well as the plans and initiatives proposed to establish a ceasefire and exchange prisoners in a phone call on Thursday night.
In this conversation, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the necessity of continuing Palestinian, regional, and international efforts to immediately halt the crimes of the Zionist regime against the defenseless people of Gaza. He also stressed the importance of providing humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people and opposing the forced migration of Palestinians. Amirabdollahian praised the stability of the Palestinian nation and resistance groups over the past four months, despite the widespread crimes of the Zionist regime, viewing it as a source of pride for the entire Islamic world, freedom seekers worldwide, and humanity.  He emphasized: "The Palestinian nation, as the main owners of this land, has the right to determine their fate and future, and no party can impose their will and political plans on them from outside."  Ziyad Al-Nakhalah, for his part, expressed gratitude for the support of the Iranian Supreme Leader, President, the Government, and the people for the cause of the freedom of Palestine and the Holy Quds, presenting a report on the heroic resistance of the Palestinian people and groups in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.  He emphasized: "Certainly, the Palestinian people and the resistance will be the final winners of the current battle, and the Zionist occupiers will have no choice but to submit to the steely will of the Palestinian people."
