Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has described a Washington Post report on July 29, 2024 about medieval torture of Palestinians at the Zionist regime's prisons as merely the "tip of the iceberg". Kanaani made the comment in a post on X social media platform. He added that the leaks about some torture techniques and crimes at a prison inside Sadieh Timan base in Negev desert, 30 kilometers from the Gaza Strip near the city of Beersheba, indicate that the Zionist regime has set a new record in comparison to the notorious US-run prisons of Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib. Kanaani urged international organizations and rights activists to fulfill their legal and humane responsibility in this regard.
