The spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the latest air and ground attacks carried out by the occupying Zionist regime on areas in southern Syria and the outskirts of Damascus. Esmail Baqaei warned against the continued expansionist and aggressive actions of the Zionist regime on Syrian territory and called for a firm response from the international community and Islamic nations to denounce these violations and take immediate action to halt Israel’s ongoing breaches of international law. Baqaei pointed to the repeated violations of the 1974 agreement by the Zionist regime, describing these aggressions as blatant breaches of the principles of the United Nations Charter and international law. He emphasized that the occupation of parts of Syrian territory and the repeated infringement of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity constitute an act of aggression. He urged the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action to stop these violations and prevent further threats to international peace and security by the Zionist regime.
