UAE minister of state for foreign affairs meets with Iranian FM in Tehran
UAE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms. Lana Nusseibeh who traveled to Tehran to participate in the second meeting of the Political Consultations Committee between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates met on Monday afternoon with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
UAE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms. Lana Nusseibeh, who traveled to Tehran to participate in the second meeting of the Political Consultations Committee between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates, met on Monday afternoon with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.   During the meeting, the UAE minister of state described the talks with the political deputy of Iran’s Foreign Ministry as useful and constructive and stressed the UAE’s determination to continue advancing the expansion of bilateral relations between Iran and the UAE in various fields, particularly in the economic and trade sectors.   Ms. Nusseibeh, welcoming the resumption of diplomatic engagement between Iran and the US in Muscat, underscored her country’s commitment to regional stability, security, and de-escalation of tensions.   Also, Araghchi referred to the good and extensive relations between Iran and the UAE across different areas, especially in the economic and commercial fields, noting that Iran is ready to further expand bilateral ties in line with the shared and mutual interests of the two countries.   Araghchi also praised the efforts of regional countries to help reduce tensions and safeguard regional peace and stability and appreciated their diplomatic initiatives and good offices in this regard.   The two sides further exchanged views on regional and international developments and underlined the importance of strengthening stability and security in the region through dialogue and diplomatic solutions, as well as continuing consultations and contacts between the two countries.
