Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, and Badr Abdelatty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, held a phone conversation today to discuss the latest developments and regional and international repercussions of the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as Iran’s legitimate defense.  During this conversation, Araghchi elaborated on the latest views of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the aggression that took place and the legitimate and decisive defense of the country’s Armed Forces against the aggressors.  The Egyptian Foreign Minister outlined his country’s latest consultations with regional and international actors aimed at reducing tensions in the region.  The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Egypt subsequently emphasized the continuation of consultations between the two sides.
