In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ رِجالٌ صَدَقُوا ما عاهَدُوا اللّهَ عَلَیْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضى نَحْبَهُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ یَنْتَظِرُ وَ ما بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِیلاً"Among the believers are men who have remained true to their covenant with God. Some of them have fulfilled their vow, while others still await, and they have never changed in the least." The great and appreciative nation of Iran is mourning the loss of its wise Imam and Leader, Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei (may his soul rest in peace). The historic farewell to this great figure has become an opportunity to renew the nation's pledge to his lofty ideals and to safeguard the unparalleled achievements of the independence, dignity, and strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran once again extends its congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the beloved Leader of the Islamic Revolution to his worthy successor, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei (may God protect him), to the great nation of Iran, the senior religious authorities and distinguished Islamic scholars, the Islamic Ummah, and all freedom-seeking and truth-loving people across the world. The Ministry calls upon the noble and freedom-loving people of Iran to participate in their millions in the farewell and funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader, once again demonstrating to the world the greatness of Iran and the splendor of its national unity and strength. The martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution truly guided beloved Iran in both domestic governance and foreign policy in accordance with the noble Qur'anic verse:«فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِي اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ يُحِبُّهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ يُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَخَافُونَ لَوْمَةَ لَائِمٍ ذَلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ» "Allah will bring forth a people whom He loves and who love Him; humble toward the believers, firm toward the disbelievers; striving in the way of Allah and fearing not the blame of any critic. That is the bounty of Allah which He grants to whom He wills, and Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing." He dedicated his blessed life and even his family to this luminous path. His steadfastness and unwavering commitment to the path of truth, justice, and humanity not only guarantees the dignity and strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran but has also inspired nations and freedom-loving people throughout the world.The meaningful presence of various religious and national groups from across the region, along with high-level delegations from around the world attending the farewell ceremony, stands as clear testimony to the dignity and greatness of the martyred Leader and the noble nation of Iran. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its sincere appreciation to all foreign guests who, despite pressure and threats, attended the farewell ceremony for our martyred Leader, stood on the right side of history, and paid tribute to truth and justice. The martyrdom of our great Leader is not the end of the journey but the beginning of a new chapter in the advancement of Islam and beloved Iran. The free and noble nation of Iran, relying on Almighty God, drawing upon its rich national and Islamic heritage, and under the wise leadership of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, will preserve with all its strength the name and legacy of the martyred Leader and continue his honorable and dignified path. The officials responsible for the country's foreign policy will likewise continue to regard his enduring guidance on safeguarding Iran's dignity, independence, and strength, and maintaining vigilance against the plots of its enemies, as their guiding principle. There is no doubt that the courageous and patient people of Iran, the Islamic Ummah, and all truth-seeking and freedom-loving people will continue to pursue, with determination, justice against the American and Israeli perpetrators of these crimes as a permanent demand.
