Iran condemns terrorist attack on mosque in Pakistan’s Kohat

Baghaei extended his condolences to the families of those killed, as well as to the government and Muslim people of neighboring Pakistan. Emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled position of unequivocally condemning all forms of terrorism and violent extremism, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson stressed that terrorist and violent acts targeting civilians and security forces have absolutely no justification. Baghaei also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination among regional countries to effectively and continuously combat terrorism.
