Speaking in a meeting with Iranians living in China on Wednesday evening local time, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi evaluated the negotiations with the Chinese authorities during this trip as successful and said, "Implementation of the resolutions of this trip has created a double responsibility for the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beijing".
Referring to the many capacities available in Iran and China, Dr Raisi called the development of cooperation and interaction beneficial for both countries and added, "The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China should make efforts to transfer technology in various fields to the country and also introduce the achievements of Iranian young people in knowledge-based companies to Chinese markets".
Referring to his meeting with the representatives of dozens of large Chinese companies, the President mentioned their lack of knowledge and awareness of the very large capacities in Iran as one of the obstacles in the economic interactions of these companies with Iran and said, "The establishment of Iranian commercial offices in different countries should be to be pursued seriously".
Ayatollah Raisi also described being a member of the SCO and the provision of communication with the infrastructure of all its member countries as one of the important actions of the government in the path of creating a platform for the development of foreign trade and stated, "These opportunities are suitable platforms for activating the economic capacities of the country".
Legal protection and benefiting from consular services of Iranians living abroad were among the other emphasis of the President.
Before the President's speech, a number of businesspeople living in China expressed their issues and problems.
