Nicolás Maduro, the President of Venezuela, officially welcomed Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, who has travelled to Venezuela at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation, at the Presidential Palace of the country.

In this ceremony, a group of people of Caracas from different walks of life were also present, and upon the arrival of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they welcomed Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and the accompanying high-ranking delegation, holding the flags of Iran and Venezuela.

In this ceremony, after the national anthems of the two countries were played and a photo was taken, the Presidents of Iran and Venezuela introduced the members of the high-ranking delegations of the two countries to each other. During the playing of the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a group of Venezuelan children and teenagers sang the national anthem of Iran in Persian.

After the official welcoming ceremony, the Presidents of Iran and Venezuela will first have a private meeting with each other, and then they will hold a meeting and negotiations of the high-ranking delegations of the two countries
