Iran FM holds telephone conversation with Qatari PM, FM

During the phone call, Amirabdollahian expressed appreciation for the constructive role played by the Qatari government in facilitating the release of the Islamic Republic of Iran's frozen assets in South Korea and the release of Iranian prisoners.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, also conveyed his satisfaction with the progress achieved in certain issues involving the Islamic Republic of Iran and third parties. He announced that the finalization and completion of all processes related to the transfer of Iran's assets to Qatari banks would occur in the coming week.
Furthermore, both parties underscored their readiness for the exchange of prisoners between Iran and the United States, reaffirming their commitment to the agreed-upon timeline, with the mediation of the Qatari government.
In this telephonic exchange, the foreign ministers of both countries emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing mutual consultations across various areas of mutual interest.
