This gathering marked the second in a series of meetings uniting pro-Palestinian NGOs and figures, following the inaugural meeting initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at its Public Diplomacy Center.
At the outset of the meeting, Ayatollah Akhtari lauded the remarkable accomplishments of the resistance in dismantling the Zionist regime's fake grandeur. He vehemently denounced the recent crimes committed by the regime in Gaza and labeled the acceptance of Hamas' terms as an overt failure of the Zionist entity.
Continuing, Ayatollah Akhtari commended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for successfully establishing effective communication channels with international NGOs and figures supporting Palestine. He highlighted the significance of forming an international network of Palestine supporters as a potent mechanism to exert political and legal pressure on the Zionist regime.
Nasser Kanaani, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, regarded this victory as the dawn of a new chapter for the resistance's pursuit of liberating the holy al-Quds. He emphasized that the Zionist regime would do anything to evade defeat, stressing the importance of preventing the regime from compensating for its military losses by triumphing in the political arena.
Kanaani further emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's unwavering support for Palestine over the past 44 years, underscoring Tehran's commitment to extending substantial aid.
Addressing the role of non-governmental organizations, he stressed the urgent need for increased support for the Palestinian people, and added: "Given the robust potential of NGOs and established platform, we must more than ever provide support to the Palestinian people in realizing their rights."
During the meeting, representatives from NGOs advocating the liberation of the holy al-Quds expressed their perspectives on the Palestinian issue. They emphasized on continuing to convene joint meetings to leverage the NGOs' capacities at the international level to aid the oppressed Palestinians while condemning the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime.
