Iran FM in Yerevan for talks with Armenian officials
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has arrived in Yerevan at the head of a political and parliamentary delegation for talks with Armenian officials.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has arrived in Yerevan at the head of a political and parliamentary delegation for talks with Armenian officials.
Upon his arrival at the Yerevan airport, Amirabdollahian was welcomed by high-ranking officials of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanian and Director General of Regional Affairs of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Hayk Darbinyan along with a number of other Armenian officials were present at the welcoming ceremony.
Amirabdollahin and Armenian officials will explore ways of expanding bilateral, political, economic and cultural ties during their meetings.
The Iranian foreign minister will also hold consultations with Armenian officials over key issues in the southern Caucasus region within the framework of the 3+3 platform.
