Iran condemns Australia New Zealand and Canadas double standards

Kanaani strongly condemned the hypocritical approach of Australia New Zealand and Canada towards the air attack by the Israeli regime on the diplomatic headquarters of Iran and their deploring of Irans move to exercise its inalienable right to legitimate self-defense against the aggressor under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned the hypocritical approach of Australia, New Zealand, and Canada towards the air attack by the Israeli regime on the diplomatic headquarters of Iran and their deploring of Iran's move to exercise its inalienable right to legitimate self-defense against the aggressor under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

Kanani stated that the adoption of such a duplicitous stance by some countries, including Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, and their selective approach to international norms as well as their siding with the apartheid
Zionist regime has not only failed in helping reduce tension in the region, but it has also encouraged the aggressor and intensifies the barbaric actions and war crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.

He added that the baseless accusations leveled by the prime ministers of Australia, New Zealand and Canada come at a time when by providing weapons to the Zionist regime, these countries are complicit in the war crimes of the regime against the oppressed Palestinian people.

Kanaani noted that by supporting the Zionist regime's occupation of
Palestine and ignoring the historical and legitimate right of the Palestinian people to determine their own fate, these countries have undermined regional stability and security.

And they also have other dark records in the region, such as direct and indirect participation in the bloody wars against Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman added that while reaffirming its adherence to the principles and goals of the UN Charter and international law, the Islamic Republic will act forcefully when it comes to safeguarding its national security and preserving its legitimate interests vis-à-vis any illegal use of force.
