Baqaei said the decision is a key step toward renouncing violence.

He underlined that the Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes any process that would stop acts of terrorism and strengthen security in the neighboring country of Turkey.
The Foreign Ministry’s spokesman added that Tehran hopes that the development will have positive outcomes for the region.
