Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghaddam has met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
In the meeting, Amiri Moghaddam presented a report on the latest state of bilateral relations between Tehran and Islamabad as well as the programs and follow-ups undertaken to continue and further strengthen the ties between the two neighboring and Muslim countries in various fields, including economic and commercial areas, particularly after the visit of the Pakistani prime minister to Tehran.
Meanwhile, Araghchi underlined Iran’s determination to comprehensively expand relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan in line with the policy of good neighborliness and the implementation of the agreements signed by the two sides.
The top Iranian diplomat also referred to the shared positions of Iran and Pakistan on many regional and international issues. He described the continuation of consultations between Tehran and Islamabad as being essential for securing mutual interests and contributing to the security and stability of the region.
