FM Araghchi meets with new envoy to Côte d’Ivoire
Irans Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Seyed Gholamreza Mir-Mohammad Meygoonei the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Abidjan this Tuesday afternoon prior to his departure to assume his mission. He presented a report on his proposed program for the new post.
Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, met with Seyed Gholamreza Mir-Mohammad Meygoonei, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Abidjan, this Tuesday afternoon prior to his departure to assume his mission. He presented a report on his proposed program for the new post.
During the meeting, Araghchi emphasized the importance of the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and African countries. He underscored the necessity of efforts to strengthen Iran–Côte d’Ivoire relations, particularly in the economic and commercial domains.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Côte d’Ivoire, Meygoonei had served as Ambassador of Iran to Niger and as Director-General for Buildings and Logistics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
