Iran condemns massacre of civilians in Sudan

Iran’s Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Esmail Baqaei condemned the massacre of dozens of defenseless civilians in the Koloni area of Sudan’s South Kordofan State.

Iran’s Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baqaei, condemned the massacre of dozens of defenseless civilians in the Koloni area of Sudan’s South Kordofan State.

 

Baqaei expressed regret over the silence of the international community regarding the dire humanitarian situation and the repeated mass killings of innocent people in Sudan.

He called on the international community to dispatch immediate humanitarian assistance to Sudanese displaced persons and to take serious and effective measures to halt foreign interference in Sudan and prevent the transfer of weapons to the Sudanese rebels, who constitute the principal cause of the continuation and exacerbation of the crisis in Sudan.
