Iran UAE FMs hold phone conversation discuss ties regional developments

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, in a phone call with his Iranian counterpart, discussed and exchanged views on regional and international developments as well as bilateral ties.
During the conversation, Araghchi referred to the provocative remarks by the US officials, saying they are perceived as an interference in Iran’s internal affairs.
He also said Iranian people are determined to defend national sovereignty, security and dignity of Iran in the face of foreign threats and mischievous acts.
The Iranian foreign minister also referred to the US and the Israeli regime’s growing threats against national sovereignty of the regional countries, reaffirming the responsibilities of all states in the region to counter destabilizing measures.
He further waned about the consequences of irresponsible and dangerous behavior of the US and the Zionist regime and its effects on the region.
The UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, in turn, underlined the importance of continuous consultations between Iran and regional countries.
He stressed the necessity of more coordination among regional states to safeguard stability and security of the region.
