Iran condemns Zionist regime’s attack on Lebanon

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Baqaei strongly condemned the attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanon on Friday including the Beqaa region and the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh in Sidon which led to the martyrdom and wounding of over 40 Lebanese and Palestinian citizens.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baqaei, strongly condemned the attacks by the Zionist regime on Lebanon on Friday, including the Beqaa region and the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh in Sidon, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of over 40 Lebanese and Palestinian citizens.

 

Referring to the continued gross violations of Lebanon's national sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the November 2024 ceasefire agreement, the spokesperson reminded the direct responsibility of the ceasefire guarantors, the US and France, for the crimes committed by the Zionist regime.

 

He emphasized the necessity for the United Nations and its Security Council to take immediate action to fulfill their legal responsibilities in order to halt the military aggressions of the Zionist regime.
