Iran Iraq Foreign Ministers hold phone talks on regional developments

Fuad Hussein Iraq’s Foreign Minister held a telephone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss regional and international developments.

Fuad Hussein, Iraq’s Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to discuss regional and international developments.

 

During the call, Iran’s top diplomat briefed his Iraqi counterpart on the latest developments in the Iran–U.S. nuclear talks.

 

The two sides also underscored the importance of continued close consultations among regional countries to safeguard regional peace and stability.
