Iranian Foreign Minister holds phone talks with Qatar’s Prime Minister

Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a telephone conversation with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar to discuss regional developments.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation with Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to discuss regional developments.

 

During the conversation, Iran’s Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Qatar’s efforts, along with those of other regional countries, in promoting the collective and shared interests of the region. He also briefed the Qatari side on the latest developments in the Iran–U.S. nuclear negotiations.

 

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing the path of diplomacy to safeguard regional peace and stability.
