Statement by Iranian Ambassadors and Heads of Diplomatic Missions Worldwide on U.S. and Israeli Military Aggression against Iran

In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“Indeed, the plot of Satan has always been weak.”

 

We, the ambassadors and heads of the diplomatic and consular missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran around the world, as representatives of the great Iranian nation and custodians of its national interests, while honoring the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and paying tribute to the noble martyrs—particularly our martyred leader and guide, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei—pledge, alongside our martyred leader and all the martyrs of the homeland, including the 175 young children from Minab who were martyred in the missile attack carried out by American–Zionist aggressors at the same time as the martyrdom of our beloved leader in Tehran, that we will defend with all our strength in the field of diplomacy the sovereignty, national dignity, and territorial integrity of Iran against the brutal aggression of the enemy.

The vulgar remarks made in recent days by certain U.S. officials regarding Iran’s diplomatic apparatus and its honorable and patriotic diplomats represent yet another clear indication of their failure to understand the fundamental realities of Iran and the Islamic Republic, as well as the depth of their hostility toward the Iranian nation and the national and religious values of the Iranian people—particularly the principle of loyalty to the homeland and steadfastness in defending Iran even at the cost of one’s life.

Such positions, which constitute a clear violation of the fundamental principles of international law and diplomatic norms, also reflect their definitive failure in their military aggression against Iran and their desperate attempts to wage cognitive and psychological warfare against the sons and daughters of our beloved homeland.

 

As ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of Iran across the world, we reaffirm our commitment to continuing our country’s resolute diplomacy in confronting the enemies of Iran. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Iran’s brave armed forces, we will not relent in repelling the enemy’s aggression. We will be the strong voice of our oppressed yet powerful people in the arena of international diplomacy and will not falter for a moment in fulfilling our legal, national, religious, and moral duties in service to our motherland.

 

With divine grace and the wisdom and steadfast determination of the Iranian people and officials, the Islamic Republic of Iran will emerge from this great trial proud and victorious, and the plots of the enemies of Iran to weaken the Iranian nation will fail.

 

O enemy! If you are a piece of stone, I am iron!
