Iran Qatar FMs talk on regional developments US-Israeli aggression consequences

the current situation is exclusively the result of U.S. and Zionist military aggression against Iran

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone conversation to discuss and exchange views on the latest regional developments, the consequences of the U.S. and Zionist regime's military aggression against Iran, and bilateral Iran-Qatar relations.

Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, referring to his country's principled position rejecting the use of force and respecting Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasized the necessity of an immediate cessation of war and the restoration of stability and security to the region.

Iran's Foreign Minister, stressing Iran's commitment to maintaining and enhancing friendly relations with regional countries, including Qatar, stated that the current situation is exclusively the result of U.S. and Zionist military aggression against Iran, as well as Washington's exploitation of its military bases and assets in regional countries to carry out military aggression against Iran. Referring to the international legal obligation of all states to prevent other countries from using their territory for military aggression against other nations, he expressed hope that regional countries would move toward collective and endogenous peace and security.

Iran's Foreign Minister, while detailing the crimes committed by the U.S. and the Zionist regime against the Iranian nation, emphasized Iran's firm resolve to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stated: "The heinous war crimes committed by the U.S. and Israel, particularly attacks on schools, universities, hospitals, industrial and production infrastructure, and nuclear facilities, must be prosecuted and punished in domestic courts and international bodies."
