Irans ambassador-designate to Lebanon holds phone talks with Foreign Minister Araghchi

Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani, Iran's ambassador-designate to Lebanon, held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Friday afternoon.

Referring to the brutal attacks by the Israeli regime against Lebanon over the past few days, Sheibani provided a report on the latest field and political developments in the country.

The Foreign Minister, while condemning the military aggression and crimes committed by the Israeli regime against Lebanon, emphasized the full support and solidarity of the Iranian government and people with Lebanon's legitimate resistance against the Israeli occupying regime.

Araghchi also referred to the inclusion of Lebanon in the Iran-US ceasefire understanding and the necessity of halting the Israeli regime's attacks on Lebanon, stressing the need for the United States to adhere to its commitments in this regard
