Iran strongly condemns breach of ceasefire continued military aggression of Zionist regime against Lebanon

Referring to the ongoing gross violations of the ceasefire understanding, Baghaei recalled the direct responsibility of the US government for this situation and called for serious action by the international community and the United Nations to hold the Zionist regime accountable for the crimes committed in Lebanon and occupied Palestine.

 

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also condemned the barbaric act of the Zionist regime in assassinating Ms. Amal Khalil, the courageous journalist of Al-Akhbar newspaper, and described this terrorist crime as another example of the Zionist regime's effort to silence the voices of those who narrate the truth.

 

Baghaei offered condolences for the martyrdom of this lady journalist to her family, the media community, and the resistant people of Lebanon, and wished a speedy recovery for Ms. Zainab Faraj, the photojournalist of Al-Akhbar newspaper who was injured during the aforementioned terrorist operation.
