Iranian Foreign Minister Kurdistan Region President discuss bilateral ties regional security in phone call

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, discussed issues of mutual interest, including Iran-Iraq bilateral relations and regional developments, during a telephone call.
In this telephone conversation, the two sides exchanged views on relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Kurdistan Region, including economic-commercial ties, strengthening coordination to maintain the security of common borders, and combating terrorism.
The parties also exchanged views on regional developments and the importance of regional countries' commitment to enhancing endogenous security in the region.
