Kazakhstans Foreign Minister meets with Iranian counterpat in Tehran

Yermek Kosherbayev Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan who has traveled to Tehran to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with Seyed Abbas Araghchi the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday morning.

The Kazakh Foreign Minister conveyed the condolences of the government and people of Kazakhstan to the Supreme Leader, the government, and the people of Iran, and wished the Islamic Republic of Iran continued victory and prosperity.

Referring to President Pezeshkian's visit to Astana last year and the highly productive talks held and agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries, Yermek Kosherbayev expressed hope that the outcomes of the visit would be actively pursued, leading to the comprehensive expansion and deepening of relations between Tehran and Astana.

Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed appreciation for the presence of Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister at the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He also thanked the government and people of Kazakhstan for their messages of sympathy and expressions of solidarity with the government and people of Iran.

Araghchi further emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's strong commitment to expanding and strengthening relations with the littoral states of the Caspian Sea, including Kazakhstan, in pursuit of their shared and mutual interests.
