Iranian Burkinabè Foreign Ministers meet in Tehran

Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso who has traveled to Tehran to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution on behalf of his country as well as the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)—comprising Burkina Faso Niger and Mali—met on Friday evening with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, Foreign Minister of Burkina Faso, who has traveled to Tehran to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution on behalf of his country as well as the Alliance of Sahel States (AES)—comprising Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali—met on Friday evening with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Burkinabè foreign minister conveyed the condolences and solidarity of the President, government, and people of Burkina Faso, as well as those of Niger and Mali, with the Islamic Republic of Iran. He offered condolences over the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, along with a number of Iranian officials and civilians, during the imposed war.

Traoré praised the Iranian nation's steadfastness and resilience in the face of unlawful threats and pressure, stressing that the Iranian people have become an unparalleled model of dignity, the pursuit of independence, and resistance for all freedom-seeking nations.

For his part, Foreign Minister Araghchi thanked the government and people of Burkina Faso for their sympathy and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, reaffirming Iran's determination to continue strengthening its friendly and brotherly relations with Burkina Faso.
