Iranian Parliaments Economic Commission holds meeting with Foreign Minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi attended a meeting of the Economic Commission of Irans Parliament as part of his continued participation in meetings of the Parliaments specialized commissions where he held discussions and exchanged views with members of the commission on the most important developments and issues related to the countrys foreign policy and economy.

At the meeting, a report was presented on the latest regional developments, particularly the course of talks and negotiations with the Omani side.

Hamid Ghanbari, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, also presented a report on the latest status and aspects of the recent US sanctions and their effects and consequences on the country's economic and trade sectors.

The Foreign Minister subsequently responded to questions and some ambiguities raised by the lawmakers.
