Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who has traveled to New York at the head of a diplomatic delegation to attend the UN General Assembly, held a phone call with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres upon his arrival.

During the phone call, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on issues on the agenda of the UN General Assembly and the UN secretary-general’s efforts to advance international peace and security.
