Baghaei: US blaming Iran for fuel price hikes is an attempt to evade responsibility

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said the US is blaming Iran for unprecedented fuel price hikes in an attempt to evade responsibility for the consequences of its military aggression against Iran. In a post on X he said US officials were seeking to shift the blame for a crisis that disrupted commercial shipping and closed the Strait of Hormuz.
