Kurdistan Region President holds telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister

Nechirvan Barzani President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq held a telephone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss and consult on regional developments.

Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, held a telephone conversation with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to discuss and consult on regional developments.

 

During this telephone call, the two sides consulted on enhancing cooperation between Iran and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq aimed at safeguarding border security and preventing any third parties from exploiting the situation to destabilize the region.
