Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian talked to his Malaysian counterpart, Zambry Abdul Kadir, on Monday and exchanged views on the latest events in Palestine.

During the phone call, the Iranian foreign minister pointed out that the humanitarian situation in Gaza has deteriorated, and warned that the Zionist regime has no restrictions to continue its genocide and war crimes against civilians.

The Zionist regime devastated the children’s hospital in Gaza with phosphorous bombs and massacred the kids who were hospitalized there,” he said.

Amirabdollahian said he is ready to participate in the meeting of the Executive Council of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah, and stated that the most important issue at the time is to stop the war crimes against civilians in Gaza and put an end to the siege on people.

Iran’s foreign minister also pointed out that efforts have been made and talks have been held with the United Nations Secretary General and the Director General of the Red Cross to draw the attentions to the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza. He said a corridor should open to immediately send humanitarian aid to Gaza.

For his part, the Malaysian foreign minister also censured the killing of the women, children and civilians.

He appreciated Iran for its positions and underlined the significance of collaboration between the OIC member states and expressed his readiness to take part in the organization’s meeting.

Zambry Abdul Kadir also admitted the importance of opening routes for humanitarian aid such as water, electricity, medicine and food to Gaza
