Iranian FM leaves Tehran for Jeddah for OIC emergency meeting on Palestine

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian left Tehran for the Saudi city of Jeddah to take part in an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states’ foreign ministers on Palestine.

The meeting is going to be held as demanded by Iran and some other Islamic countries to review the latest developments in Gaza and to hold talks on taking effective measures in order to immediately stop the Zionist regime’s raids against the oppressed Palestinian nation as well as the genocide in Gaza.

The Iranian foreign minister will deliver a speech in the meeting to elaborate on Iran’s views and proposals on the unravelling incidents in Palestine.

During the event, he will also meet and hold talks with some officials and his counterparts from the participating countries.

The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia  to Tehran, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, and some of the staff members of the kingdom’s embassy in Tehran saw the foreign minister off to Jeddah.
