Iranian FM meets with Irans new consul general in Milan

Irans new Consul General in Milan Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi has met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi before departing for the place of his mission. During the meeting Dehghani Firouzabadi presented a report to the foreign minister outlining his proposed plans for advancing his responsibilities in the new post.

                                       
Iran's new Consul General in Milan, Kamal Dehghani Firouzabadi, has met with Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi before departing for the place of his mission. During the meeting, Dehghani Firouzabadi presented a report to the foreign minister outlining his proposed plans for advancing his responsibilities in the new post.
While underlining the importance of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Italy, Araghchi stressed the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in such areas as trade, commerce and consular affairs as well as attention to the affairs of Iranians living abroad within the consular jurisdiction.
Dehghani Firouzabadi has previously served as director general for parliamentary affairs at the Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriates Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also as an MP representing the Taft and Meybod region during the 10th term of Iran's parliament.
