In the call, Iran’s top diplomat briefed the Indian minister on the regional situation, the consequences of continued provocative unlawful US actions
threatening international freedom of navigation, as well as the latest developments regarding negotiations to end the imposed war against Iran.
Araghchi described the insecurity imposed on the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz as a direct result of aggressive acts by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran, stressing the need to hold them accountable for the security and economic repercussions of their actions on the entire world.
India’s foreign minister, for his part, reaffirmed his country’s principled position in support of diplomacy to end the conflict and resolve disputes.
