Iranian Foreign Minister Russian counterpart hold telephone conversation

Seyed Abbas Araghchi the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Sergey Lavrov the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation discussed regional and international developments during a telephone call on Friday evening.

In the conversation, Iran’s top diplomat briefed Lavrov on the Islamic Republic’s positions and initiatives aimed at ending the imposed war by the US-Zionist regime against Iran and establishing peace in the region.

 

The Russian Foreign Minister, recalling his country’s principled stance in condemning military aggression against Iran, reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to provide any assistance to help end the imposed war and bring about peace in the region.
