In the call, Iran’s top diplomat briefed the Polish minister on the security situation in West Asia and the consequences of aggressive acts by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran on regional security.
Iran’s Foreign Minister described the insecurity imposed on the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz as a direct result of the US and Israeli regime’s military aggression against Iran, and stressed the necessity for all countries to adopt a clear and firm stance in condemning the US act of maritime piracy and threats to international navigation.
The Polish Foreign Minister expressed sympathy with the families of the victims of the recent war and reaffirmed his country’s principled position on resorting to diplomacy to end the war and establish peace.
The foreign ministers of Iran and Poland also exchanged views on certain consular issues during the telephone conversation.
