Iran rejects UAE’s baseless claims warns of regional consequences

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while condemning the destructive actions of Abu Dhabi’s rulers in collusion with hostile parties against the Islamic Republic of Iran — including their continued hosting of military bases and equipment — warns of the dangerous consequences of this situation for regional peace and stability.

 

Over the past two days, concurrently with the escalation of unlawful and provocative actions by terrorist American military forces in the region and their naval maneuvers under the deceptive guise of "humanitarian" operations, Abu Dhabi’s authorities have also demonstrated conspicuous cooperation with the aggressive American side and posed a threat to Iran’s national security and interests — an approach contrary to the principle of good neighborliness and in violation of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter. Nevertheless, the Islamic Republic of Iran, adopting a responsible approach and in deference to the collective welfare of the region and the Islamic Ummah, has exercised maximum restraint.

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while rejecting Abu Dhabi’s baseless claims regarding the launch of missiles and drones from Iran toward the UAE, clarifies that the defensive measures of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces at this stage have been exclusively aimed at repelling American aggression.

 

Emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s commitment to the principles of the United Nations Charter, the fundamental rules of international law, and the principle of good neighborliness in relations with all regional countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly calls on Abu Dhabi to refrain from continued collusion and partnership with hostile parties (the United States and the Zionist regime) in committing acts against Iran that are inconsistent with international law.

 

It is evident that the Islamic Republic of Iran will spare no necessary and appropriate measure to defend its national interests and security.
