Indonesian Foreign Minister meets with Iranian counterpat in Mashhad

Indonesian Foreign Minister Yogi Suno who is leading a high-ranking delegation comprising the Speaker of Indonesias Peoples Consultative Assembly (MPR) as well as representatives of the countrys two major Islamic organizations Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah traveled to the holy city of Mashhad on behalf of the Indonesian government and people to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Yogi Suno, who is leading a high-ranking delegation comprising the Speaker of Indonesia's People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) as well as representatives of the country's two major Islamic organizations, Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, traveled to the holy city of Mashhad on behalf of the Indonesian government and people to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
On Friday, he met and held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi.

Conveying the condolences and sympathy of the Indonesian government and people to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Indonesian foreign minister extended his condolences to the Supreme Leader, the Iranian government, and the Iranian people over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as a number of Iranian officials and civilians, during the US-Israeli military aggression against Iran.

Expressing appreciation for Indonesia's sympathy and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Foreign Minister Araghchi underscored the importance of unity in the Islamic world in the face of the Zionist regime's expansionism, genocide, and colonial apartheid.

Referring to the unprecedented violation of the fundamental principles and binding rules of the UN Charter and international law by the US ruling establishment, the Iranian foreign minister also stressed the importance of serious action by all countries to uphold the rule of law and prevent the normalization of lawlessness and rogue behavior.
